Oxford University study: Beef produces 60kg CO2 per kg, cheese 21kg, chicken 6kg, eggs 4.5kg, tofu 2kg, lentils 0.9kg. Plant-based diets reduce food-related emissions by up to 73%. Even reducing meat consumption helps significantly.

Lamb and beef have the highest environmental impact. I switched to beans and lentils.

I do Meatless Mondays. Small change but if everyone did it, impact would be huge!

I reduced meat to twice per week. My carbon footprint calculator shows 40% reduction in food emissions!

Local and seasonal doesn't always mean lower carbon - transportation is small part. Production method matters more.
